Silica gel Manufacture & Supplier in Vishakhapatnam, Vijaywada, Kakinoda, Krishnaptinamy, Guntur.

Silica gel is a granuler, viterous, porous form of silicon dioxide made synthetically from sodium silicate. Silica gel contains a nano-porous silica micro-structure, suspended inside a liquid. It looks like irregular crystal like beads. Silica gel packets are used to absorb moisture and keep things dry.

Silica gels are available in different qualities, which have different absorption characteristics.  Silica gel will have a maximum absorbance at a particular relative humidity and the absorbance will fall off at either direction from this point. Due to risk of re-evaporation and over-saturation silica gel is not suitable as a container desiccant. But is can be good for use in packages where the risk of high temperature is less.

Uses:-

  • Create a dry travel bag
  • Dry out wet fishing flies
  • Extend the life of razor blades
  • Keep engines dry while in storage
  • Dry out a wet cell phone
  • To help keep photos safe and free from moisture
